Approach, Anylasis & Testing
TO START: My approach starts with getting to know who you are and your history. I start with a session of talking about your medical issues thoroughly. Reviewing your medical test results and or diagnosis. Discussion of symptoms other than your main complaint is important because they often are related in some way. I also ask you what you eat, are happy with life, your lifestyle habits, your family, what medications or supplements you are taking etc. At times I may suggest additional testing such as Genetic, Hair Folicle, Heavy Metals, Cortisol/Adrenal saliva, ect..
EASY EVAL: One of the techniques I am best known for in getting my patients well is my ability as an AK practitioner. Applied Kinesiology or Meridian Muscle testing as it’s know as is a technique used for more than 75 years here in the U.S.A. Although It has been used for centuries in the eastern medical model to reveal gland and organ insufficiencies or stressors that tend to be the root of most health problems, it has only been recently accepted by the american people as a non invasive valuable essesment tool. Because symptoms are not causes, and finding the core issue is the key to resolving symptoms, illness and disease. Years ago scientists discovered your body has an internal chemical balance that is as unique to you as your fingerprint. Likewise, every food you eat has its own "chemical balance" – a unique set of natural or man-made chemicals.
ADDITIONAL LAB TESTS
FOOD REATIONS GOOD AND BAD: As your body reacts differently to each and every food, the food you eat each day will enhance proper body chemistry, or disrupt the correct balance. In fact, 95% of the people I help show that one or more foods they regularly eat may be causing a toxic reaction in their body. You might not even notice these toxic reactions. Most of them work at a cellular level, and may cause symptoms that you won't notice right away. Or, you might not EVER make the connection that what you're eating is actually damaging your body. So, nutritious foods you eat (like corn, soy, egg whites, green pepper, whey, or chicken, for example) may actually act like a poison toxin in your body. When you eat foods that form toxins in your system, those foods can cause harmful, chronic problems with your health. Another great way to quickly and accurately measure how your body reacts to the foods you eat is through the IMMUNOLABS Bloodprint test, which pinpoints the foods that support healthy body chemistry and those that are toxic to you.
MINERAL REACTIONS GOOD AND BAD: Also a hair tissue mineral analysis performed by ANALYTICAL RESEARCH LABS, is a screening test for the level of 20 minerals and toxic metals in a sample of hair. It is a tissue mineral biopsy that is non-invasive, relatively inexpensive and extremely accurate. A hair tissue mineral analysis is considered a standard test used around the world for the biological monitoring of trace elements and toxic metals in humans and animals species. The same technology is used for soil testing and testing of rock samples to detect mineral levels. Hair, like all other body tissues, contains minerals that are deposited as the hair grows. Although the hair is dead, the minerals remain as the hair continues to grow out. A sample of hair cut close to the scalp provides information about the mineral activity in the hair that took place over the past three to four months, depending on the rate of hair growth.
You may want to consider the above mentioned additional testing options if you are dealing with a serious condition.
BEGIN A PROTOCOL TO GET WELL: "Nutrition assessment" means the evaluation of the nutrition needs of individuals based upon any biochemical, physical, and dietary data to determine nutrient needs and recommend appropriate nutrition intake including the establishment of priorities, goals, and objectives that meet nutrition needs; the provision of nutrition counseling in health and disease; the development, implementation and management of nutrition care plans; and the evaluation and maintenance of appropriate standards of quality in food and nutrition
