Frequently Asked Questions

What is Holistic Health Care?

Holistic health looks at the whole person, attempting to identify the underlying causes of imbalanced conditions, and tailoring health recovery plans to the individual while emphasizing the three aspects of all conditions of who you are, the biochemical-physical-emotional.

In the context of the Professional Wellness Alliance- Functional Holistic Medicine, “natural health” involves improving your health and wellness through use of holistic, traditionally-sound natural approaches, non-toxic substances and non-invasive protocols – and by practicing healthy living.

How does Holistic  Health compare to conventional medicine?

Natural health is for people seeking to improve their health by using food and natural supplements, homeopathic remedies and herbal formulations as their medicine to help with various health conditions, rather than pharmaceutical drugs for symptoms.

Should I stop my medications as a client of your practice?

No, you should not. You should always consult with your medical doctor about any changes you want to make with your medications.

Is there anything special I need to know about in-person appointments?

Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Makeup is fine, however, please do not wear perfume, cologne, oils, or strong fragrance products (including hair products, sunscreens, and lotions) when coming to our office. Many people with allergies are very sensitive to these substances.

Also, please do not bring food or drinks with you that are not a part of your health recovery plan. It is a good idea to drink at least 8 ounces of water within an hour of your appointment.

Parents please do not bring children to your appointment. If a child is coming for an appointment, please do not bring any other children unless you have first consulted with our office staff.

If you are sick or some other emergency arises, please contact us immediately to reschedule your appointment. Your cooperation in these ways is much appreciated.

Is there anything special I need to know about distant voice/video appointments?

I always conduct a free to you complimentary discovery call- 15 minutes to discuss your health goals and concerns, to discuss further testing and see how functional natural medicine can help you live your best life.

If we decide to work together then the initial one-time initial consultation will include a complete health history review, blood and additional lab test reviews and reports, and at the end of your call, you will receive a 90-day plan to meet your health goals. Also includes a 15 minute follow up call two weeks after your initial consultation included in the $247 cost.

Follow up visits 30/60/90     $75/$140/$190

Payment is due at the time service is provided. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks and most credit cards.
